We have arrived where the Douro and the Beira Interior meet. In this ancient historical, architectural, and cultural heritage we travel to the heart of the historic village of Marialva, one of Portugal's historic villages.
Home to several peoples, it was conquered by D. Fernando, the Great, in 1063, and today hosts the dream of Carmen and Paulo Romão. To it, the couple has added tradition from the Beira region, sophistication, modernity, and comfort. And so Casas do Côro was born.
With 13 houses and 29 rooms, we enjoy refuge in nature, which invites us to awaken emotions through boat rides and pedestrian visits. In turn, it is with organic products that we accompany the landscape at Casão do Largo, where dinners are paired with the village wines - with Carlos Raposo's enology and Dirk Niepoort's advice.
